What are the entry requirements for Portugal (U.S. Citizen)?
U.S. citizens may enter Portugal for up to 90 days for tourism without a visa. Ensure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your stay. For more details, visit: Portugal Entry Information.

What is this new ETIAS requirement for EU travel?
As a US citizen, you currently don’t need a visa for short-term travel (tourism or business) to most European countries, but starting in late 2026, you'll need to obtain an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) authorization before traveling.

If I fly into Lisbon, how do I get to Porto?
You can rent a car or take a high-speed train (Alfa Pendular) from Lisbon to Porto, about 2.5 hours. The train departs from Lisbon’s Oriente Train Station and arrives at Porto’s Campanha Station, conveniently located near major attractions. Tickets are about €64.

Once I land in Porto, how do I get to Braga?
Both the Welcome Party and Wedding Day events are in or near Braga. Depending on where you’re staying, we recommend either renting a car or taking a taxi/Uber to Braga. Bolt is an affordable ride-share app available in Portugal.

Driving in Portugal: What do I need to know?

Essential documents include your license, passport, car registration, proof of insurance, and a reflective jacket. Rental companies typically provide these. In an emergency, the national emergency number is 112.

If I choose to drive to your venues, will there be parking available?
